My Commitment to Service
My commitment to my clients is to make their home buying and/or selling experience as simple, easy, and rewarding as possible.
Being a Real Estate Agent is not without its challenges. As an agent, I often carry the goals, hopes, dreams, and even pains of my clients on my shoulders. However, there is nothing I can think of that is more rewarding or fulfilling than being the person that is walking along side of my client as they take the next step on their life’s journey.
Depending upon who you are, buying or selling a home can mean many different things and inspire a plethora of emotions. For some people, they may only buy one home in their entire lives and never sell it. Others, may buy and sell two, three, or even more homes in their life time as they adapt to different stages in their lives. There are also investors that might buy and sell multiple properties a year or even in a single month. Regardless of who you are or what your goals are my commitment to providing you the highest quality of service does not change.
Whether you are buying or selling a fifty-thousand-dollar house or a multi-million-dollar estate, I strive to provide all of my clients with the highest level of service. However, I cannot do any of this without you. I do not look at myself as a guide that will hold your hand and pull or drag you through the process. I am a partner to my clients that will walk beside you, advise you on how to avoid pitfalls and stumbling blocks, and work with you on finding the home that is right for you, your family, and your situation. I am committed to providing you with the information and advice that you need to hear, not that you may necessarily want to hear.
A common misconception is that real estate agents set the price at which a home is listed for, or what offer is made on a home for purchase. In these situations, the client is the ultimate decision maker and the agent is the facilitator. My commitment, is to advise my clients in the best possible way so that you can make intelligent and informed decisions.
At the end of the day, I cannot force someone to buy a house they do not like, and I do not want to. I also cannot force clients to get paperwork and documents to a lender to settle on a house they want to buy, or clean and paint a house they want to sell at a higher price. These are things that are ultimately left up to the client. I can however recommend professionals to assist with such things, but again it will be up to the client to take advantage of this.
Every Real Estate Transaction is different in its own way. There are many things that go on behind the scenes and a huge cast of characters that clients, and even myself sometimes, never get to meet involved in each transaction. Even when everyone does their absolute best problems can still arise throughout the process. My commitment is to stay informed on everything that is going on throughout the process to anticipate speed bumps and stumbling blocks so that they can be avoided. However sometimes problems cannot be avoided. In these situations, I take pride in taking a “No problems, just solutions” mentality, and adapt to the situation to come up with creative solutions to keep things moving forward.
